Welcome to the Medcred platform. All content available on this application (both web and mobile versions) belongs exclusively to Medcred Technologies  LLP. ("Medcred", "the Company", "we", or "us"), having its registered office located at MRA E-55, Madathuvilakom, Maruthankuzhy, Kanjirampara P.O., Trivandrum. Medcred provides a wide range of healthcare-related digital services including assisting users in locating, reviewing, and connecting with qualified medical professionals and healthcare facilities in selected geographical areas (“Services”). These Services are intended solely to enable better access to healthcare information for users.

This document is generated electronically under the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, along with the applicable rules, and all amendments made to electronic record provisions in various laws. Being a computer-generated electronic document, it does not require signatures, whether digital or physical. This publication complies with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011, which mandates the public availability of Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and such regulations for accessing or using the Medcred platform. The domain name www.medcred.co.in (hereinafter referred to as “Website”) is registered and operated by Medcred Technologies LLP., incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013.

 

Your access to or use of the Medcred Website, application, tools, and all related Services is governed by these Terms of Use, including any additional policies incorporated herein by reference. Any interaction, transaction, or usage of features on the Website/App automatically binds you to these Terms of Use. By continuing to browse or use Medcred through any device including desktops, laptops, smartphones, or tablets, you are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.

 

We strongly advise you to carefully review these Terms of Use before registering or availing any Services from Medcred. Registering or using our platform signifies your unconditional acceptance of these Terms and your agreement to comply with them. These Terms override any prior verbal or written communications between you and the Company. Please note that Medcred is not intended for use during medical emergencies. Users are strongly encouraged to independently verify any information provided regarding healthcare practitioners before making appointments or decisions.

 

User Registration

To book appointments or use our transaction-based features, users must first register and create an account on the Medcred platform (“Medcred User”). During registration, you will be required to provide certain details such as name, phone number, and email address, and set a username and password.

Registration is a one-time procedure. Returning users may log in using their previously created credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and ensuring that no unauthorized person gains access to it.

A Medcred User may also make appointments on behalf of family members or acquaintances; however, the user shall remain solely accountable for any action carried out via their Medcred account for such individuals.

 

ELIGIBILITY

 

• To use Medcred’s services for booking appointments or interacting with healthcare providers, users must complete the registration process as prescribed by Medcred. The login credentials created during registration are intended for personal use only, and Medcred strictly prohibits multiple individuals from sharing a single account. However, a registered user who is a parent or lawful guardian of a minor or any individual legally considered incapable of entering a contract may use their account on behalf of such dependents to access medical services and healthcare products.
   

• Access to and registration on the Medcred platform is available only to natural persons capable of entering a legally binding contract as per the Indian Contract Act, 1872. This means individuals such as minors, those declared insolvent, and persons of unsound mind are not eligible to independently create an account or use the Website.
   

• By registering or using the Medcred platform, you acknowledge that you are over 18 years of age, of sound mind, and legally competent to enter into a contract. You further represent that you possess the authority to use the Services and agree to comply with all applicable Terms.
   

• You must not use any product or service available through Medcred for unlawful or unauthorized activities, nor should you violate any applicable regulations, intellectual property rights, or other legal provisions while using the platform.
   

• You also agree not to upload, transmit, or circulate any harmful code including malware, viruses, or anything designed to disrupt, damage, or compromise the system. Any breach of these Terms will result in immediate suspension or termination of access to Medcred Services.

Platform Updates and Modifications

Medcred retains the right to modify, enhance, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website, the mobile application, or its features at any time without prior notice. Medcred will not be responsible to users or third parties for such modifications or service interruptions. You acknowledge that the Medcred app installed on your device remains the property of the Company, and updates, including automatic upgrades, may occur without requiring additional consent. These Terms shall apply to all versions of the app, including upgraded releases.

 

 

Communication and Notifications

By using the Medcred platform, you consent to receive communications from us including alerts, promotional content, calls, emails, and messages related to the services offered via the Website or app. Users may choose to opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us at support@medcred.in

SERVICES

The use of this Platform entitles You, to avail certain services as provided in the following clauses and interpretation of the term 'Services' shall be done accordingly depending upon the context.

2. Scans services from test centers /laboratories.

3. Home nurses and midwife services

4. Pets grooming service

5. Medicine home delivery
    

DIAGNOSIS SEVICES - RULES AND REGULATIONS

The App allows you to select and schedule appointments with doctors and health care providers registered with the website and to whom certain specific terms Medcred. While choosing your doctor or healthcare provider on the App, you understand and accept that:

 

• You are ultimately responsible for choosing your own doctor or healthcare provider and Medcred shall not be held responsible or liable for the selection of such doctor or healthcare provider.
   

• Medcred will provide you with lists and/or profile previews of doctors and health care providers who may be suitable to deliver the health care that you are seeking based on information that you provide to Medcred (such as area of specialty and geographical location). For certain specific services, Medcred may choose a doctor or healthcare provider on your behalf based on the nature of services you request and on the doctor or healthcare professional available to provide you with the clinical services for the same.

 

Please note that Medcred:​

 

• Does not recommend or endorse any doctors or health care providers mentioned on the app.
   

• Does not make any representations or warranties with respect to these doctors or health care providers or the quality of the healthcare services they may provide. Medcred shall not be liable for any reason whatsoever for the services provided by the health care professional or doctor, and we bear no liability for the consequences to you, of your use of the system or services.

Information regarding doctors and health care providers and practice information found on the app is intended for general reference purposes only. Such information found on the app is mainly self-reported by the doctor or the health care provider. Such information often changes frequently and may become out of date or inaccurate. Neither the app nor Medcred provides any advice or qualification certification about any particular doctor or healthcare provider. You are encouraged to independently verify any such information you see on the website with respect to a doctor or healthcare provider that you seek to make an appointment with.

 

APPOINTMENT AVAILABILITY

E-consultations shall be available for family physician & multi specialties E-consultation from a specific doctor/physician shall be available subject to his/her availability/willingness/discretion. Confirmation of your appointment with a specific doctor/physician, as per his/her availability, shall be sent to you via SMS and/or E-mail. The time provided for consultation to you is indicative and actual consultation time may change depending on the consulting doctor's discretion.

 

PAYMENT FOR ONLINE CONSULTATION

Medcred offers an online mode of payment. You shall be directed to our trusted payment gateway partners once you proceed to make payment of Consultation Fees. International patients may only use a credit card for making the payment. Indian nationals may use internet banking/debit/credit card/mobile wallet for making payment for Online Consultation charges.

Medcred shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever, for incorrect or inaccurate credit/debit card/internet banking/mobile wallet details that are provided by you for making the payment of Consultation Fees or if you use a credit/debit card which is not lawfully owned by you or if you permit a third party to use your password or other means to access your account.

Medcred shall keep the aforesaid information as confidential at all times and shall not utilize and share the same with any of the third parties other than authorized third party websites and/or as mandated by any authorities as required by law of the land or as per any Court Order.

 

Medcred reserves the uncompromised right to modify and/or implement a new pricing structure at any time prior to billing you for your initial payment or for future payment.

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

In case of cancellation or non-confirmation of the appointment by Medcred due to any reasons, three options are available to the consumer:
 

1. User may ask for rescheduling the appointment with the specialist doctor.

2. User may claim a refund of the advance payment if intimidated before 12 hours of the appointment. After 12 hours the user can claim partial refund.

3. The advance payment may be added as credit in the account of the consumer and be adjusted in due course for future consultations.

 

In case the consumer misses the appointment, they shall not be entitled to any refund.

Once Medcred verifies the refund request, the amount will be credited to the original payment method within 6-7 working days.

In case the consumer's credit card/debit card/payment account has been accidentally overcharged, please notify Medcred of the same at the earliest. In case of over-charging, the consumer has the following options:

The consumer may claim a refund of the outstanding amount. In such a scenario, Medcred shall make all endeavors to refund the amount within 7-14 working days. The outstanding amount may also be added to the account of the consumer as credit so as to be adjusted in future consultations of self or of another person.

 

The refund shall be made by e-banking or by demand draft or by other such mode other than cash, depending upon the suitability of both, Medcred and the consumer.

 

For claiming refund, the consumer should necessarily have the valid invoice of the investigations, so as to be able to get the refund.
